The Midway Sewer District is in the planning stages of a rehabilitation project in Downtown Des Moines. The project will extend the life of approximately 3,600 lineal feet of sewer mains in the downtown Des Moines area.
These sewer mains were built in the late 1950’s and are nearing the end of their reliable usefulness. The District is looking at every available option to replace and or rehabilitate these sewer mains and minimize impacts to the residences and businesses in the area.
