Vacancy Certificate

To qualify for Midway's Vacancy Policy:

1. Property must have been continuously vacant for 6 months.

2. Account balance must be zero.

3. Property owner must submit a letter, listing the property address and the date it first became continuously vacant.

Once these 3 requirements have been met, then Midway Sewer will suspend billing on the account while the property continues to be vacant. Property owners must complete a Vacancy Certificate for each billing period. If a Vacancy Certificate is not submitted, the District will assume the property is occuppied, and will resume billing.
